Wild Scotland is the Scottish wildlife tourism association and we represent over 70 wildlife-watching companies from across Scotland. All Wild Scotland members work to help visitors to Scotland make the most of the great wildlife-watching opportunities our country has to offer.
Did you know that Scotland has some of the best wildlife watching in Europe?
Owing to our location on the edge of Europe the range of habitats in Scotland is considerable, from arctic-alpine environment of the Cairngorms to the sand-rich meadows and beaches of the Western Isles.
There are wildlife spectacles throughout the year, from the huge breeding seabird populations around the coast during the summer to the haunting call of the red stags in autumn. In spring, the woods, hills, coasts and seas are alive with activity and even in the winter there is plenty to see with the arrival of the grey seal pups and thousands of migratory geese.
Wild Scotland provides a free introduction service for tour operators looking to include wildlife-watching activities in their itineraries. Our knowledge of the wildlife tourism product is second to none, so let us help you find the right operator in the right location for your tours and guests.
