Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate

Take a walk though the fantastic Yorkshire Dales National Park which boasts some of the finest scenery in the north of England. The name 'Dales' comes from the Scandinavian 'Thal' and refers to valleys in the area made by boggy by rivers flowing down from the Pennine Hills. The Yorkshire Dales National Park has outstanding scenery, a range of wildlife habitats and a rich cultural heritage.

The walk from Grassington takes you through another very impressive landscape (9,6 miles/15 km - 4 hours). In the afternoon you will visit the pleasant spa town Harrogate, well-known for its award-winning gardens. A must for garden-lovers is the RHS Garden Harlow Carr of Royal Horticultural!
