Steinehüpfen in Schottland
Ja, es gibt tatsächlich 2009 eine Weltmeisterschaft im Steinehüpfen, und zwar auf Easdale Island in Argyll. Doch am 27. September wird es nicht um die Anzahl der „Hüpfer“ auf der Wasseroberfläche gehen – im Gegensatz zum US-amerikanischen Konkurrenten geht es hier einzig und allein um die Weite. Dieses Event zieht nicht nur Schotten an. Gäste aus aller Welt darunter auch aus Deutschland und sogar Japan und Neuseeland werden erwartet. Wer einen neuen Rekord aufstellen möchte, muss allerdings den Vorjahressieger mit einer Weite von 54 m überbieten!
