The classic open top sports Morgan Car is 100 years old in 2009. Production of this English Classic started in Malvern in 1909 and 2009 sees a yearlong anniversary celebration creating memories that will last a lifetime! The celebration aims to include the whole of the Morgan world from owners to employees, suppliers to dealers and each event has been planned with special interest groups in mind. Events include the opening of the Visitor Centre at the historic Malvern Link Factory based in Worcestershire, a driving event held at Madresfield Court, near Malvern, a golf event at the Worcestershire Golf Course set beneath the splendid backdrop of the Malvern Hills and a boat cruise from the riverside town of Upton upon Severn through the glorious Worcestershire countryside. There will also be a Thanksgiving Service in Great Malvern Priory, which was originally part of a Benedictine Monastery followed.
