Great Yorkshire Showground
24th - 27th April 2008
Spring is once again in the air and as the weather becomes milder, it's that time of year again when Yorkshire begins to bloom! The Great Yorkshire Showground opens its gates to welcome you to this event and to the start of the UK's gardening show season. The two flower halls are home to over 100 of the country's leading horticultural nurseries, all exhibiting and competing for titles and trophies. You'll be able to seek expert advice from the nurserymen who are experts in their filed and happy to help you create the perfect garden, or help pick which plants to buy and take home! Explore the horticultural nurseries, be inspired by the show gardens and professional garden designers on hand, enjoy the floristry and flower arranging and maybe even treat yourself to some hand-made soaps, leather goods or knitwear from the arts and craft shops on site.
